Kinosaki Onsen

Kinosaki Onsen is a classic Japanese hot spring town located in northern Hyogo Prefecture on the coast of the Sea of Japan. It is known for its charming, traditional scenery and seven public hot spring baths that are all tattoo-friendly.

History

The town developed around hot springs that were discovered in the 8th century. Visitors can stroll through the atmospheric streets in yukata robes and wooden geta sandals, visiting the numerous public baths and nostalgic shops.
